Industrial electrification in action

Hybrid CAT 785 haul truck
Switch’s mine-ready hybrid system for the Cat 785 cuts diesel and boosts performance through high-efficiency regeneration and electric assist. First deployment starts early 2026 at PLS’s Pilgangoora lithium mine, using battery packs built with Echion’s XNO® technology.
Centurion off-grid battery electric truck charging depot
We designed and built the off-grid charging and energy system that powers Centurion’s 30-truck Mercedes-Benz eActros fleet across two depots in Perth. The system combines 4.4 MW of rooftop solar, 10.3 MWh of on-site battery storage and 15 dual-port fast chargers. Australia’s first fully off-grid, 100% renewable BEV truck depot now in full operation. North site commissioned Feb 2025, South site Jul 2025.
Hybrid LandCruiser (Echion XNO®)
Custom hybrid conversion developed in partnership with Echion Technologies for mining light vehicle applications. We designed and built battery modules using Echion's XNO® cells, integrated the complete powertrain, developed thermal management systems, and integrated vehicle controls - taking the project from concept to site testing in nine months. Now validating performance ahead of mine-site deployment.
